for approx 1200 usd a night this is what we got: spectacular location fantastic and attentive staff bingo great people watching ambience beautiful decor in lobby. fantastic entryway.

room with 2 full beds were standard. nothing extraordinary considering the cost no coffee machine in the room no free shuttle to/from airport or to/from downtown missing items. ie: we had to call 2x to get 2 robes and 2 slippers for my friend and I. neighbours eaten room service tray (filled with leftover food) sat all day next to our door. we had to call to get it removed. changed room 2x to get something worth our 1200 usd. former room bathroom was very dated. beach waitstaff. overall amazing. however we kept being told by one wait staff person that we weren’t in his area therefore couldn’t serve us. even though he gladly accepted orders from behind and in front of us. wasn’t sure that that was about. because we were very friendly not demanding people lol.

Pool size, proximity to the beach, staff was extremely attentive.

The resort is SO expensive, it seems like there should be more included in that cost (breakfast, cabanas, pool toys, etc.)

It was visually appealing

The bed was absolutely horrible. It was so uncomfortable I was in the process of checking out, but was then told I’d still be charged for the night I wasn’t even going to be there. That is the only reason I completed my stay.

The property was about 70% over valued. The only thing this property had for it is the view. Nothing about the Westin structure was worth it.

Rooms were small and hot. My wife had to put a cold towel on her chest to cool off. The bar in the lobby was hot and the bartenders were sweating. You couldn’t at least place a fan at the bartenders area?  not much choice of restaurants and Ferdinand‘s was OK and food was mediocre at best. The atmosphere of the restaurant was terrible.

Very expensive with the added feature of construction onsite during our stay. Notified on day two construction would be ongoing for the week.

Our rooms were on the first floor and the lobby noise traveled down the hall. The doors were kept open which allowed for noise. Also the tile floor contributed. Maybe some signs to Remind other guest walking in the hallway there are guest rooms and to be mindful of noise.

The location to the beach and activities - the facilities were clean and staff attentive

No complaints

Ivan, Daniel and Ollie were exceptional. Check in was easy. Getting a taxi was a breeze, doormen were helpful and pleasant. Brunch was great. Coffee shop was ideal, great variety of healthy and indulgent.

Better quality toiletries would be nice. The house keeping staff was loud every morning and one day our room was missed. We had to call at 3pm to have them come. Not all cabanas should be reserved, some should be first come first serve. Fresh ceviche at Tortuga would be nice.

The bed was super comfy! The hotel was very clean and the staff was wonderful. The beach and all the fun things to do were great too!

I liked the food on the room service menu better than the food offered at the outdoor restaurant. I didn’t like all the straws I saw laying on the beach.

We stayed at the Westin Resort on Seven Mile Beach from Dec 23-30, 2019. We are a family of five, two adults and three children, and we booked two Ocean View rooms. We requested our rooms to be next to each other and I called the hotel Front Desk a few days earlier to confirm our request. Fortunately, our request was honored and we were given two rooms next to each on the 2nd floor. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly greeted by the soothing scent of the lobby (White Tea Westin specialty oil); we checked in and the process was relatively easy and short. Our rooms were initially not ready but as soon as we were done with checking in, they told us they were ready. The rooms were nice and spacious, bright and clean, as well as the bathrooms. Our three kids stayed in one room, our daughters slept on the king-size bed, while our son slept on the sofa-bed. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the down comforters. Even though we were on the 2nd flor, the noise level was minimal. Facilities: My husband went to the gym every day and he enjoyed the facility. I took a couple of beach yoga classes and loved them! The beach is absolutely spectacular, one of the best stretches of sand, and since the reset faces the West, the sunset is exquisite! The beach attendants are extremely efficient, professional and courteous. The water sports are run by a company called Red Sail, and they do a great job. Highly recommend their services. Food: There’s a great café in the lobby that we went to for coffee, bagels, a quick bite and one of the best avocado toast! The beach restaurant is great, offering delicious and great favorites. We tried a couple of places across the Westin one day and they were both very good, but the food at the hotel is excellent, so for the most part we ate there during the day and then ventured out to try out different restaurants for dinner. The concierge desk was very helpful in recommending good restaurants and securing dinner reservations.

My only criticism is of the frenzy over the chaise lounges on the beach that some hotel guests have taken to the next level: getting up at an un-Godly hour to reserve them, while other guests took it upon themselves to police unattended chaise lounges and ask attendants to remove the personal possessions that some guests had left on those chairs. In fairness, we were there during Christmas break and the hotel was fully booked; moreover, we faced the same issue last Christmas in Mexico at another resort.

The staff was wonderful from the minute we arrived. Alessandra at Chck in was kind, friendly and very helpful. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the hotel left us a complimentary bottle of wine and strawberries.

There is nothing I didn't like.
